The announcement of the third national lockdown on Monday (January 4) means that only essential shops can remain open, this will include selected stalls at Kenilworth market

The market, held at Abbey End on Thursdays between 9am and 3pm will continue to operate during the next lockdown but for essential stalls only.

Organised by CJ's Events Warwickshire, Kenilworth market has been running continuously since restarting in May of last year during the first lockdown.

Warwick District Council have given organisers the green light to stay open, but stalls will only be accepting card or contactless payments, not cash.
