Kenilworth man arrested for assault after early morning incident

A Kenilworth man who allegedly made threats to local residents has been arrested today (May 7).

The 22-year-old was arrested after officers responded to a report of a man trying car doors in Waverley in the early hours of this morning.

He is alleged to have made threats to local residents who witnessed the offence.

The man was arrested on suspicion of interfering with motor vehicles and common assault.

He remains in custody.
