This year, owing to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions on outdoor events, the Kenilworth Lions' much-loved pre-Christmas carol concert is going online, and it will be completely free to watch on YouTube in the comfort of your own home.

The concert has been produced by members of the lions working with a professional choirmaster and video producer, and contains all of the usual ingredients - your favourite carols to sing along to, accompanied by the Salvation Army band, plus local schoolchildren, readings and performances of the Christmas story and much more besides.

The only things they haven't been able to include are the mulled wine and other refreshments!

The carols will be sung by a virtual choir made up from over fifty singers drawn from local choirs and singing groups.

Kenilworth Lions have said they "are grateful for the financial support and encouragement of the Town Council, the Rotary Club of Kenilworth and Kenilworth Round Table in helping to make this free event possible.

"We all believe, after such a dreadful year, that it will be a great way of drawing the local community together at the start of this Christmas season."

Full details of the event, and information on how to apply for your free tickets, can be found on the Kenilworth Lions website at Carols In The Clouds 2020 - Kenilworth Lions Club.
