A hotel on the outskirts of Kenilworth has announced a "huge" refurbishment is underway for its meeting and event facilities.

The multi-million-pound project is expected to be finished this autumn and will see the event spaces at the Chesford Grange Hotel "look much more premium, with a modern and stylish concept throughout".

ADS Designs - the team behind the makeover - is helping the hotel break into the MICE marketplace - meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions.

The Kenilworth Suite, which has a 700 seat theatre style set up, will have all new interiors.

The majority of bedrooms and the entrance of the Tudor-style manor house have already been upgraded this year.

Nick Hughes, general manager at Chesford Grange Hotel, said: "We're incredibly excited to launch our newly refurbished facilities in a few months' time.

"We're delighted to offer our clients a new, premium meeting and event offering, with food and service to match the product.

"We are proud to have clients visit us from all across the UK, and I'm confident they will be impressed with our new, improved offering, due to be completed very soon."

The hotel has submitted a number of planning applications over the last 12 months, including asking for permission for upgraded signing and a new heat and power unit.
