Gin lovers are being invited to enjoy an evening of tasting, food and fundraising in Kenilworth this September, all in aid of Guide Dogs.

The Kenilworth Guide Dogs fundraising group has announced a special event at East Chase Distillers on Saturday, September 19, offering guests the chance to sample locally distilled gin while supporting a life-changing cause.

Running from 7.30pm until around 10.30pm, the evening will include a guided gin tasting led by the East Chase Distillers team, an artisan meat and cheese board, and the opportunity to meet guide dogs.

Guests will also hear from business owner Luke Wheetman, who will share the story behind the independent distillery and explain the gin-making process.

Tickets cost £30 per person, with every penny raised helping Guide Dogs provide support for people living with sight loss.

Organisers said: "Training a guide dog costs around £10,000, and every ticket sold will help towards transforming someone's independence and confidence.

"Every day, 250 people in the UK begin to lose their sight – that's one person every six minutes.

"Your support helps ensure they don't lose their freedom too. Funds raised during this special evening will help people with sight loss build confidence, independence and live active, fulfilling lives.

"We'd love to welcome as many people as possible for what promises to be a fantastic evening. By coming along, you'll enjoy great local gin, delicious food and wonderful company, while helping to change someone's life."

Places are limited, and organisers are encouraging anyone interested to book early.
