The 2021 Kenilworth Food Festival has been postponed until 2022.
The event was due to take place on July 25 2021, but has been cancelled "due to the uncertainty and risk Covid-19 poses".
The festival was due to be hosted in Abbey End, and would have hosted at least 80 local food and drink traders as well as children's activities.
Organisers of the Kenilworth Food Festival, CJ's Events Warwickshire, will still be hosting Warwick Food Festival on August 1 2021.
In a statement on the company's website, Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: "Our priority is the safety of our team, traders, festival visitors and the local community.
"Although the planned date to move to Step Four is Monday, 19 July, we feel it is too close to the scheduled Kenilworth Food Festival."
CJ's has set a new date of Sunday 24 July 2022 for the Kenilworth festival and are currently awaiting confirmation from Warwick District Council.
Jamie added: "We know this will be a huge blow to many traders, as it is to us. We have played our part to prevent the spread over the past year and feel this is the best decision for all involved until cases begin to fall again and more of the UK population is vaccinated."
