Kenilworth charity shop officially closes

A Kenilworth charity shop has officially closed.
The Cancer Research UK shop on Warwick Road will shut its doors on Saturday 30 May for the final time.
The town centre shop was offering major discounts in the final weeks of business, offering all items for just £2 or less.
Cancer Research UK is shutting 190 locations nationwide.
Many have closed this May, with the remainder due to close by April 2027.
The move will leave the charity with 320 locations.
The nearest to Kenilworth is now in Leamington Spa.
Michelle Mitchell, CEO of Cancer Research UK, added: "Without action, we predict many of our shops will become unprofitable.
"This news will be difficult. Our decisions have been taken after serious consideration.
"We're committed to supporting everyone affected by these changes, and will provide clear information and support throughout the process."
