A Kenilworth charity shop is on the hunt for more volunteers to help out at its town centre store.

Acorns on Warwick Road is looking for locals who can spare a few hours a week to help the charity raise money for the work it does supporting young people and families.

Acorns Children's Hospice provides specialist palliative care for life limited and life threatened babies, children and young people and support for their families.

The charity operates three hospices - in Worcester, Birmingham and Walsall - as well as providing care in family homes and in the community.

"Could you volunteer in your local Acorns Charity Shop, Warwick Road?" a charity spokesperson said.

"At Acorns, our dedicated teams provide specialist palliative care for life limited and life threatened children and support for their families.

"Our award winning charity shops provide essential funds to support this care and we couldn't operate without the help of our valued volunteers who give us their time: from a few hours a week to a couple of days."
