Kenilworth Centre Launches in memorium giving
By James Smith 12th Oct 2026
The Kenilworth Centre is launching a new In Memoriam and Legacy Giving campaign, inviting people with connections to Kenilworth to help secure the centre's future.
Launched to coincide with Free Wills Month this October, the "Your Legacy. Their Future." campaign encourages people to consider remembering someone special with a donation or leaving a gift to the Kenilworth Centre in their Will.
Free Wills Month runs from 1 October and offers eligible people aged 55 and over the opportunity to make or update a simple Will through participating solicitors.
For generations, the Kenilworth Centre has been a place where people can learn, connect, create and belong. Today, its work includes youth clubs and mentoring, community activities and family support, alongside providing a home for local groups, charities, volunteers and businesses and sees over 1,300 people through its doors each week.
Each year, the centre has more than 4,000 interactions with young people and more than 3,000 support interactions with members of the public through community provision and partnerships.
A gift that lasts
Through In Memoriam Giving, families and friends can celebrate the life of someone special with a donation in their memory.
Through Legacy Giving, people can leave a gift to the Kenilworth Centre in their Will, after taking care of family and loved ones. This could be a specific amount or a percentage of an estate.
Becky Webb – from the Kenilworth Centre, said: "The Kenilworth Centre belongs to the community, and we want to make sure it continues to be here for generations to come.
"Many people have a special connection to Kenilworth, whether they live here now, grew up here, have family here or simply care about the town.
"A donation in memory of someone special or a gift in your Will can turn that connection into something lasting and help create opportunities for people in Kenilworth long into the future.
"Family and loved ones will always come first, and leaving a legacy is a very personal decision. We're simply asking people to consider whether the Kenilworth Centre could be part of the legacy they leave behind."
