A Kenilworth café is set to host six weeks of street food over the summer holidays.

Running every Friday night from the end on July, Time for Tea will welcome 12 different vendors to customers on Castle Hill.

'Unleash the Feast' will get underway on Friday, July 28 with American-style wrap company Tasty States and Project Doughnuts coming to town.

On each of the six nights, the eatery near Kenilworth Castle will stay open late, with a bar available for drinks to be consumed on site.

And no bookings will be taken on any of the nights, so it is first come first served.

"We run these events as it gives Kenilworth a taste of something different as we don't have enough range of food in the town but also it gives local traders a chances to showcase their talent to," owner Owen Prosser-Stock told Nub News.

"People should come down for the great food both main & dessert, and also enjoy the atmosphere with the music & a bar on as it gives a real street food vibe to the evenings."

The summer-long celebration of food is also a return to hosting food festivals for Owen, who has over five years experience organising such events.

Each event will start at 5pm and last until 9pm - or until all the food has sold out!

The full schedule:

  • July 28 Tasty States (American-style wraps) and Project Doughnut
  • August 4 Waffles and TBC
  • August 11 Chatty Patty (fried chicken) and Cookie Cottage
  • August 18 Flying Cows (burgers) and Beki Brownies
  • August 25 Dirty Horse (pizza) and Project Doughnut
  • September 1 Hope You're Hungry (East Asian street food) and Pancakes & Co.
