After weeks of work behind closed doors, one of Kenilworth's most popular venues is about to make its grand return and it promises to "change the game".

'Greens' will officially reopen on Friday 24 October 2025, revealing a complete transformation that "promises to redefine the town's bar and dining scene".

Formerly known as Lil Greens, the venue has undergone a top-to-bottom refurbishment introducing a new name, new owners, a new head chef, a state-of-the-art kitchen and all-new food and drink menus, including a curated premium wine list.

Lil Greens shut its doors for the final time on Monday 13 October, with work beginning at the Abbey End bar straight away.

New owners said every detail has been considered, crafted, and refined to "raise the standard of dining and socialising in Kenilworth".

The result is a "stylish, modern social space" designed for every moment from lazy brunches and long lunches to vibrant evening drinks and live music nights all delivered with the "warmth, detail and quality that Greens has long been known for".

Locals have been told to expect expertly crafted cocktails, specialist coffee, fine wines and a refined menu celebrating "seasonality, simplicity and the best of local ingredients".

"This relaunch is more than just a refurbishment, it's a reinvention" said the new owners.

"We wanted to create something that Kenilworth can be proud of, a place where quality, service and atmosphere come together.

"Greens has always been part of this town's story, now we're ready to write the next chapter.

"Made for the people of Kenilworth, by people from Kenilworth."

Head Chef Sean added: "We've built our new menu around the kind of food people love to eat - seasonal, flavourful and beautifully simple.

The official public reopening will take place on Friday 24 October, featuring complimentary fizz on arrival and signature Greens tasters to celebrate the occasion.

Following the closing for refurbishment campaign earlier this month, Greens' relaunch has already captured attention across Kenilworth and Warwickshire.
