Immigration officers called to investigate Kenilworth business

Immigration officers have been called to a business on Common Lane after a tip off from a member of the public.

Officers from Warwickshire Police and the Home Office visited the property on Tuesday, January 25 to make sure staff members were legally allowed to work in the UK.

Police said no offences were identified and no arrests were made.

Officers also conducted a safeguarding check on site.

A Warwickshire Police statement said: "Local SNT and officers from Home Office Immigration Department conducted a visit to a premises in Common Lane Kenilworth.

"To ensure that staff members are safeguarded and also to ensure their status to work in the UK is legal.

"No offences identified, no arrests were made."
