Residents are being given the chance to have their say on a masterplan for 2,000 new homes, community facilities, flood prevention and green spaces in Henley-in-Arden.

The Forward Group, on behalf of Alderley Holdings Trust, is preparing an outline planning application for Beaudesert Park, which has been shortlisted in the new South Warwickshire Local Plan for development.

Plans also include up to 3.3 hectares of employment land, new schools, healthcare facilities and transport links.

The company said: "While the proposals remain at an early stage, feedback from residents, businesses and stakeholders will help inform and refine the application before it is submitted to Stratford-on-Avon District Council."

Improvements to High Street, a new link road, cycling routes and a new country park also feature.

The consultation is open until midnight Thursday 27 August 2026.

Residents, businesses and stakeholders are encouraged to find out more about the vision and provide feedback to help shape the proposals as they develop.

People can take part by visiting the Beaudesert Park website and completing the online feedback form, emailing [email protected], or calling the freephone information line on 0800 066 8942 to speak to a member of the project team.

A spokesperson for the Forward Group said: "Beaudesert Park is a long-term vision that starts with what matters most to local people: community facilities, local jobs, green spaces, better connections and addressing longstanding local issues.

"The proposals are still at an early stage, and we want to hear directly from residents, businesses and stakeholders about the future of Henley-in-Arden. By consulting now, we can ensure local views help shape and refine the proposals before an outline planning application is submitted.

"Feedback received during this consultation will help shape the vision as it develops."

An outline planning application is expected to be submitted to Stratford-on-Avon District Council later this year.
