The results of the annual scarecrow competition run by Kenilworth Allotment Tenants Association (KATA) have been announced.

Scarecrows across the town's allotments were judged in four categories, as well as the special 'Clerk's Chuckle Award'.

Kenilworth Town Council clerk Maggie Field was invited to judge the entries on August 17, ahead of the Odibourne Allotments open day on Sunday.

Chris and Margaret McIntyre won the Adult Traditional category with their 'Grandad and his helpers' entry.

The Adult Topical award was shared between Lily Brownjohn's 'I'm in the Green Zone' and Jennifer and Peter Jones 'An Optimists Guide to 2020', whilst Michelle and Steven Smith's 'C3Pea Hoe' scooped the Adult Novelty award.
