Gallery: Kenilworth Station through the years

By James Smith

20th Feb 2021 | Local News

Here is a gallery of photographs of Kenilworth Railway Station spanning 170 years of history from when the station was first opened in 1844, right up until the reopening in 2018.

Four of the photos in the gallery were taken in 1964, just a few months before the last passenger train stopped at the station. These show the booking hall interior, as well as views of the platform from both the Coventry and Leamington Spa ends of the station.

The final image from that year shows the Queen Mother emerging from the station on her way to the Royal Show at Stoneleigh Park
