Full details have been announced for the return of Carols at the Castle this weekend.

Kenilworth Castle will once again throw open its doors on Saturday, December 17 for an evening of traditional carols accompanied by Coventry Salvation Army Band.

Organised by Kenilworth Lions, the event will also feature choirs from St Augustine's school and Kenilworth School.

Both Mortimer's Gate and North Gate will open from 5.15pm, and guests are encouraged to walk if they can.

Carols will start from 6pm and the event is expected to finish at around 7pm.

Guests are also encouraged to make sure their phones are charged, and they have saved the carol lyrics from the Kenilworth Lions website - sheets will also be available on the door.

Tickets will be available on the door and cost £5 for adults with under 16s going for free.

No seating will be provided.

Hot drinks and mince pies will be available to purchase.

Organisers said: "Kenilworth Lions Club would like to thank English Heritage for their support of Carols at the Castle 2022!"
