A former outdoor learning centre in Wales closed last year by Warwickshire County Council has gone up for sale.

Marle Hall, which closed in October 2021, is currently up for auction with a guide price of just £400,000.

The council closed the 15-bedroom mansion because it has been "consistently under-utilised".

But WCC has come under fire for not releasing the documents around the decision.

The hall, which is near Llandudno Junction, has been owned by the council since 1971, having previously been a convalescent home and then a nursing home.

The Grade-II listed Georgian Mansion sits on a 3.6-acre plot on the hillside

It will be auctioned on March 2 by Savills Property Auctions.

Since WCC decided to sell the centre, it has announced a new strategy with the aim of providing more outdoor education for Warwickshire children.
