A farmer has been reunited with his flock of sheep after they escaped onto a busy road this morning (November 9).

Warwickshire Police reported this morning the sheep had escaped onto the A45 near Ryton, but were initially unable to identify the owner.

Officers managed to clear them off the road as they took to social media to find the owner.

The farmer was eventually located and the force said around 10am the sheep had been returned.
