The first homes on a new 99-house estate being built in Kenilworth have been put up for sale.

Miller Homes West Midlands has put plots 67 to 98 of its Southcrest Rise development on the market.

The most expensive currently available is a five-bed detached house being marketed at £940,000.

The Miller Homes website says the first houses could be completed as early as May 2023.

Full planning permission for the estate off Glasshouse Lane was granted in August with the showhome due to launch in early 2023.

Following its launch, the new neighbourhood will comprise of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, as well as a selection of two-bedroom bungalows.

And as part of its planning obligations to Warwick District Council, Miller Homes will give over £2,067,000 earmarked for education, transport and sporting facilities in Kenilworth.

The cheapest home currently available on the estate is a two-bed semi-detached house available for £383,250.

Miller Homes is also currently offering deals to customers who reserve a plot within the next 33 days, including a lump sum once they move in.

The brochure says of the estate: "Beautifully situated beside Kenilworth Golf Club on the eastern edge of the town, sheltered by trees and hedgerows, this attractively landscaped selection of energy efficient one, two, three, four and five bedroom homes brings a prestigious new neighbourhood into a historic town.

"Combining an exceptionally strategic location with excellent local schools and amenities, the development is less than two miles from the A46 and just 40 minutes’ drive from Birmingham."
