Explore Kenilworth with new walking trail
By James Smith 4th Nov 2026
A new walking trail has been launched by Kenilworth Town Council.
The 'Finham Brook Trail' is the latest in a series of six routes around the town and local area.
Existing maps include the 'Heritage Trail' and 'Romantic Nature Trail'.
The Finham Brook route was completed this autumn and is now available to view on the council website.
The two-mile walk includes stopping points along the brook and is designed to take an hour, but can be extended.
It starts at the Great Mere by the castle and runs all the way to Kenilworth Common
"Welcome to Kenilworth, a place definitely worth your time," the leaflet says.
"Step into our monumental story amongst the noble ruins of Kenilworth Castle.
"Lose yourself in the rolling greenery of Abbey Fields, or venture just a little further into beautiful countryside alive with nature.
"Spend a day uncovering the rich threads of our history, browse intriguing shops or simply kick back over some fabulous food & drink.
"But wait, there's more here than you'd think. So, slow down, savour each moment and... "Discover the story for yourself…"
