Driver runs across A46 and leaves car rolling to get away from police

The driver of a Skoda ran across the A46 in south Warwickshire and left his car rolling to get away from police.
Police tried to stop them on the road's northbound carriageway to complete a "document check".
The driver then jumped out the vehicle and left it moving down the third lane before hopping over the barriers, across the other carriageway and away over the nearby fields.
The car was secured by police.
"The driver managed to escape across fields but we were able to recover the vehicle which we suspect was being [driven] without documents," a Warwickshire Police statement said.
