A driver who was found to be three times over the legal limit will appear in court after crashing into some trees on a dual carriageway near Kenilworth.

The car was recovered by Warwickshire Police's operational patrol unit over the weekend after being involved in a single vehicle collision on the A46 northbound at Thickthorn.

"The driver failed a roadside breath test and was arrested," a force spokesperson said.
