Driver arrested for 'numerous offences' after chase in Kenilworth

The driver of a car - which has been involved in a number of thefts in Coventry over the past few weeks - was arrested after a short chase in Kenilworth.
Officers from Warwickshire Police's Operational Patrol Unit spotted the Citroen during a patrol in the town last night (February 22).
"After a short pursuit, the driver ran off but was detained quickly and arrested following a positive drug swipe," a force spokesperson said.
"The vehicle has been seized and the driver awaits the drug results along with numerous other offences."
