Dogs Trust Kenilworth shows off the canine duos and trio looking for new homes
By James Smith 22nd Mar 2026
Dogs Trust Kenilworth is encouraging people from across the Midlands to consider opening up their homes for some of the four-legged friends in their care, who simply can't leave their best friends behind.
These devoted friends have "formed unbreakable bonds" and are now looking for homes where they can remain side by side for the rest of their lives.
Emma-Jane Thomas, Manager at Dogs Trust Kenilworth, said, "We're on the lookout for adopters across the Midlands for these beautiful pooches, and with these dogs, you get more than double the love!
"Now that these pooches have found their best friends, we hope to find loving adopters who can offer them a comfy forever home together."
Sasha and Missie
Sasha, an eight‑year‑old Border Collie, and Missie, a 15‑year‑old Labrador, are a "charming, odd couple and inseparable best friends looking for a forever home together".
Currently thriving in temporary foster care, this duo hopes to find an adopter who can give them the comfort they deserve in their golden years.
Dogs Trust said Sasha loves playing with her favourite toys, while Missie prefers cosy sofa snuggles and plenty of affection.
They are housetrained, friendly with other dogs, and have previously lived with children. They're hoping to find a kind, loving home where they can enjoy the rest of their time together.

Axo, Bertie and Eric
Axo, Bertie and Eric are eleven, twelve, and thirteen-year-old Jack Russell Terriers who are three besties looking for their forever homes.
These dogs arrived at Dogs Trust through the Canine Care Card scheme, a free service that ensures dogs are cared for by Dogs Trust in the event an owner passes away or becomes ill.
"This trio loves people, attention, and snuggling together," Dogs Trust said.
"They would happily live with children and other dogs, and are simply looking for a warm, caring home for their retirement."

Skye and Zulu
Skye and Zulu are a pair of eight and nine-year-old Huskies who are happiest when they're together, spending time with people and playing with toys.
Despite their advancing age, they are both very active, loving to explore new places, zoom around and go on long walks.
"These gorgeous pooches are looking for a warm, welcoming and loving home together," Dogs Trust said.
"They're happy to live with children but would prefer to be the only pets. They may need support settling in at first, but with time and patience, they'll show how sweet they are."
