A project to improve accessibility across Kenilworth town centre has moved forward with councillors pulling together an online map showing accessible facilities in the town.

Kenilworth Town Council last year announced the project, after several issues around Warwick Road and the wider town centre were spotted.

An update provided at the most recent council meeting said "good progress had been made".

The map highlights accessible toilets and disabled parking spaces as well as other facilities.

Next steps will see a 'live' version created to be shared on the town council's website.

"As you know we have been working on this for some time and developing the content," Cllr Zoe Leventhal said at last week's full town council meeting.

"I am very pleased to say that Cllr David Bailey - who we are very grateful to - has put together a working draft of what the webpage would look like, and populated it with the information."
