Smoke from an industrial unit fire in Leamington Spa can be seen from Kenilworth, as firefighters continue to tackle the blaze.

Crews from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire on Juno Drive at 10.35am.

Witnesses have reported explosions from the fire, and residents on social media have said that the huge cloud of smoke can be seen from Kenilworth.

Public Health England is advising people to stay away from the scene and for to close their windows, whilst police are evacuating people from nearby buildings

As well as fire crews, and a Hazardous Area Response Team, Warwickshire Police are in attendance and an air ambulance has also been spotted by onlookers.

Warwickshire Police tweeted: "Emergency services are currently in attendance at a fire at a premises on Juno Drive, Leamington.

"Road closures are currently in place.

"Properties within the vicinity of Juno Drive, Leamington are currently being evacuated as a result of a fire at an industrial premises.

"If you live within 70 metres of the site, please keep windows and doors closed."
