A local narrowboat marina has been put up for sale for £1.35million.

Available through property agent Avison Young, Fenny Marina, in Fenny Compton, has 1,500 metres of fixed mooring with up to 100 serviced berths.

The site also includes a dry dock, workshop, chandlery and offices.

A three-bedroom bungalow with extensive gardens is also for sale at the Oxford Canal marina - this could be purchased alongside the rest of the site or as a separate lot.

The marina sits next to Waylands Business Park as was originally developed in the 1970's.

Recent refurbishment has seen the private driveway and carpark resurfaced and electric security gates installed.

The brochure says: "Fenny Marina is an established inland waterways marina located on the southern arm of the Oxford Canal.

"The subject of considerable improvement in recent years, the marina provides a purchaser with an opportunity to expand the business through more intensive use of the extensive buildings.

"In addition to the marina facility there is a detached three-bedroom bungalow with large gardens which is available together with the business or separately."

The marina basin has direct access to the canal, while the single storey office also includes a reception area, kitchen and bathroom.

Complete with two workshops, the dry dock will accommodate a single narrowboat of any size.
