Local businesses and community groups are being invited to take part in one of Kenilworth's most entertaining Boxing Day traditions: the Kenilworth Lions Corporate Duck Race 2026.

As in previous years, this will see creatively decorated ducks' race down Finham Brook in support of local charities.

Last year, 71 brilliantly decorated ducks took to the water, raising money for local charitable causes and attracting interest from near and far.

The event showcased the creativity, community spirit and friendly rivalry that make the race a firm family favourite.

For just £10, participants can purchase a duck to keep, with a £50 entry fee to enter it into the race (all entry fees go to charity).

Businesses and community groups are encouraged to decorate their ducks, nominate a charity and compete for the honour of having their creation judged by the Mayor of Kenilworth.

Best Decorated Duck:

• 1st Prize: £75
• 2nd Prize: £50
• 3rd Prize: £25

As well as supporting local good causes, the Corporate Duck Race offers an excellent opportunity for organisations to raise their profile within the community.

Every entry will be showcased on the Kenilworth Lions website and social media channels, celebrating the creativity and participation of local organisations.
