The bodies of a man and a woman have been found at a house in Kenilworth Road.

Police were called to the scene just before 3pm on June 29 (Tuesday).

The man, in his 80s, was found in the back garden and the 73-year-old woman was found inside the house.

The couple have not yet been formally identified but are believed to be husband and wife.

An investigation has been launched but detectives are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.

Forensic post-mortems will take place in due course.

The house has been cordoned off while enquiries continue to establish the circumstances that led to their deaths.
