Kenilworth's new B&M store is set to open for the first time this week, following weeks of work on the Station Road site.

The discount retailer announced plans to repurpose the former Wilko store at the start of 2024.

Since then, B&M has been granted an alcohol licence by Warwick District Council, with the new store due to open on Thursday 7 March.

Already with over 660 stores nationwide, B&M has recently started reopening former Wilko sites under its branding.

The chain announced in 2023 it would be taking over 51 Wilko stores as part of a £13 million investment deal.

The Station Road unit was then secured in December, surveyors Brackenridge Hanson Tate confirmed.

Little information on the new shop has been released by Wilko, with the website simply saying it will sell alcohol, paint and tobacco products.

The Kenilworth store will open from 8am to 7pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
