Average Kenilworth property price rises £105 per day over last year

The average property price in Kenilworth has risen by more than £105 per day over the past 12 months according to the latest government data.

House buyers can now expect to pay £38,593 more for a property in the region then they did a year ago.

Detached houses in the district have seen the biggest surge in value, going up by £80,416 on average between June 2021 and June 2022.

The UK House Price Index data, published this August, shows that across the UK there was a 7.8 per cent rise in property price on average nationwide.

In Warwick district the increase was much higher at 10.06 per cent.

The data also shows that the average property price in the area, £364,085, is significantly higher than that of the UK as a whole - £286,397.

According to the price index nearly 2,000 properties have been sold in the area in the past 12 months.

Property buyers in Warwick district can now expect to pay on average:

  • £654,483 for a detached house.
  • £386,790 for a semi-detached house.
  • £319,937 for a terraced house.
  • £218,645 for a flat or maisonette.
