Annual open day at Kenilworth's Odibourne allotments to be hosted this Sunday

By James Smith 1st Nov 2021

The annual open day at Odibourne Allotments in Kenilworth will be held this Sunday (August 22).

The extended opening hours introduced last year have been retained for 2021, with residents invited to attend from 12pm to 4pm with entry via the School Lane/Manor Road gate.

However, this year the tea and Pimms tents will be returning and there will be a produce stall as well as ice creams.

And like every year there will be plots to inspect and the chance to see this year's entrants to the scarecrow competition.

Whilst there is no entry fee, attendees are invited to give a donation, a proportion of which will be given to the Mayor of Kenilworth's nominated charities.

This year the two charities are Compassionate Kenilworth and the Youth Wellbeing Hub at the Kenilworth Centre.
