All lanes of the A46 southbound have now reopened following a vehicle fire this morning.

The fire was reported by Highways England at 9am this morning between the Stoneleigh and Kenilworth junctions.

All three lanes southbound were initially closed whilst fire crews were in attendance, causing up to two miles of queues.

Initially Highways England were only able to reopen lane three, but all lanes have now been reopened.
