16 year-old to appear in court following armed robbery in Kenilworth

A boy arrested following an armed robbery in Kenilworth at the beginning of February has now been charged and will appear in court at the end of march.

The 16-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons will appear at Coventry Youth Court on 25 March following the incident at Moseley Road Post Office on February 12.

It was alleged that he entered the store and threatened staff with a knife.

The boy was arrested the day after at 9.40am.
