The Kenilworth and Archaeology Society (KHAS) are "pleased to announce" the arrival of a trebuchet ball at the Barn Museum on Abbey Fields.

The artefact is on temporary loan from the Abbey Gatehouse, thanks to the kindness of the Harry Sunley Memorial project.

The loan is temporary due to the hoped-for arrival of the Barn's very own ball - one of the ones found at Kenilworth Castle excavations last summer.

It is hoped it will be in place with a display about trebuchets for the opening of the Barn for 2026 on 5 April.
