Kenilworth digital marketing firm has 'no plans to slow down' following huge growth in first four years
A Kenilworth digital marketing business says it has "no plans to slow down" and wants to continue to grow.
Ada Digital has already helped over 120 companies both locally and nationally, and has enjoyed 250 per cent growth in the four years since it launched in 2019.
The company was founded by Kenilworth born and bred Tom Murrell as he looked to swap his corporate life to follow a long-held ambition of running his own business.
He was then joined by his wife Dani - also Kenilworth born and bred - earlier this year, with the couple now putting their 25 years of combined digital experience together to help drive online success for a range of clients.
Ada Digital offers a variety of services - including Web Design, SEO, PPC Ads, Content strategy, CRO and Paid Social campaigns - and works with clients ranging from new businesses getting online for the first time, to huge organisations like Samsung and NHS.
Having worked with a number of clients from the very start, and with 55 5* reviews on Google Reviews and a 5* rating on Trustpilot, Ada Digital's success has been clear.
And with business continuing to grow, neither of them have looked back.
"I don't have any regrets. I always had a belief that we could do this," Tom - who is also a Google Certified Partner - told Nub News.
"Sometimes we do have to take a step back and realise that we have created a business that doesn't just tick over, but makes a genuine impact for people and their businesses.
"I haven't lost my passion, if anything I have found another gear. inside me."
Offering Something Different
Having spent years in the corporate world, both in-house and at digital marketing agencies, Tom and Dani say they want Ada Digital to offer something different.
The core vision for the company is to give expert digital advice and solutions, to help businesses grow and to always put the clients first.
"Something we pride ourselves on, is that you genuinely work with us," Tom added.
"We are the people with all the expertise and we are the people you actually work with.
"I get such a buzz from hearing problems from clients, finding an answer and then seeing what a difference we can make for the client."
"It is so rewarding, you feel part of their businesses and that you have made a genuine impact.
"Companies have come to me on the brink of collapse and we have helped and now they are flourishing, and that is so special."
The company aims to offer simple advice, and find practical solutions to help their clients achieve their own goals - making sure they communicate every step of the way with the clients they work with.
And Dani - who left her job as Head of Digital Retention with LloydsPharmacy to join Ada Digital - said she has loved getting involved with each client on an individual basis, and going the extra mile for them.
"It sounds cheesy but we do genuinely care," she added.
"It's so nice to tell a client that we can help them, action it and then see it through."
"We are not sales people, we want to help those businesses."
"We can see first hand who we're helping and that is so rewarding."
Seeing Both Sides
As well as using their years of digital marketing experience to develop bespoke packages for clients, the pair also said their knowledge of working for larger companies had proved invaluable.
"We have both been on the other side, so we know what works, we know what the frustrations are, and we know how to help," Dani explained.
"We have a background of working in agencies and being the client.
"We have a wealth of knowledge and we also know exactly what it is like for our clients, and what they need from us.
"From an SME, to a big national business, we know how to help them."
Behind the Scenes
When launching the business back in 2019, Tom decided he wanted a name that really encapsulated what the business aimed to achieve.
Inspired by a computer science module at university, he decided to name the business after Ada Lovelace, whose research would eventually go on to help inspire the first computer.
Born in December 1815, Ada was a keen mathematician who went on to work with Charles Babbage, but her work was not truly appreciated until nearly a century after her death.
"She died and got none of the credit, no one knew who she was," Tom explained.
"It wasn't until years later that she was recognised as the brains behind it.
"I thought it was so fascinating.
"But in some ways it sums up what we do.
"We work behind the scenes for a business, we are not going to take the credit for a business being amazing, but we will work behind the scenes and help them flourish."
Moving Forward
While Ada Digital Marketing has plans to grow, to widen its client portfolio and to build a team of digital experts, Tom and Dani said they do not want to lose sight of their key values.
The pair said they have no plans to slow down, or rest on their laurels, but only want to work with the right people who share the same ideals as them.
"The main aim is we are not slowing down," Dani explained.
"When I decided to take the leap and join Ada Digital, the main aim was to continue to support more clients and to build the Ada Digital brand together.
"The ambition is not to run and make quick moves, but to grow with the right people."
Tom added: "It's not about just adding numbers.
"We don't want to water down what we do or our values.
"We are about the experience for our clients, so we only want to add the right people with the right ideas.
"But we have the right things in place to mean that we can eventually scale up and keep going."
