Firm celebrates growing demand as more buyers 'embrace the reduced costs of park living'

Ahead of the World of Park & Leisure Homes Show at Stoneleigh Park this weekend, EKOS Homes is reporting strong interest at the start of 2026, as more buyers turn to residential park living for a simpler, more affordable and lifestyle-focused way of life.
With rising household costs and changing priorities among over-45s, park homes are increasingly being seen as an attractive alternative to traditional housing.
Buyers are drawn by the opportunity to downsize, reduce monthly outgoings and release equity, while enjoying a welcoming community and a better work-life balance.
Sadie Deveraux, sales and marketing director at EKOS Homes, said: "Across our developments, we're seeing a clear shift in what people want from their homes. It's less about space for the sake of it, and more about comfort, security and enjoying life day to day.
"Park homes offer a genuinely compelling lifestyle – lower running costs, beautiful surroundings and a sense of community that's hard to find elsewhere.
"For many of our homeowners, it's about starting a new chapter that feels easier, more relaxed and more fulfilling."
EKOS developments across England cater to a wide range of lifestyle choices, from coastal settings to countryside retreats.
Communities such as Castle View Court near Eastbourne, Carlton Manor in Suffolk, Coastal Retreat near Weston-super-Mare and Outhill View in Warwickshire each offer their own character.
Modern park homes are designed for both comfort and efficiency, with energy-efficient construction promising to keep running costs low at a time when household budgets are under pressure.
Homes are also fully fitted and move-in ready, allowing buyers to enjoy a low-maintenance lifestyle with more time to focus on hobbies, travel or socialising.
EKOS Homes will also be showcasing one of its latest show homes – the Omar Heron with rooftop terrace – at the World of Park & Leisure Homes Show in Warwickshire from 12 to 14 June, offering visitors a chance to explore modern park living in person.
Added Sadie: "With more people reassessing what matters most, park living is becoming an increasingly popular choice.
"It's about living well, spending wisely and enjoying a stronger sense of community – and that's something we're proud to offer across all our parks."
Running for over 30 years, The World of Park & Leisure Homes Show 2026 line-up is set to be the most ambitious yet, featuring residential park homes, luxury lodges, holiday homes, tiny houses, eco‑builds and innovative new concepts.
And in an interview with ITV News earlier this year, Craig showed off one of the "futuristic" Jin Soul capsule holiday homes which he is now shipping in from China to north Wales.
Organisers Pat and Jo Turner said: "Park and leisure homes have taken off across the country and abroad in recent years.
"People have more lifestyle choices now and the park homes give people a really different alternative to consider for both their retirement and hard-earned leisure time.
"It's a chance to enjoy beautiful locations on the coast or in the countryside with lots of space, tranquillity, security and with a community of like minded people."
This year's show is particularly special as it will feature stars of ITV's Fletchers' Family Farm, Kelvin and Elizabeth Fletcher who are set to unveil their new Fletcher's Farmhouse Lodge - created with Pathfinder Homes - and to meet the public looking at the lifestyle on offer and fantastic range of homes on view.
