Update at 10.10am - Warwickshire Police confirm she has been found "safe and well".

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to help find Marianne Schmitt, age 69.

"We are pleased to confirm that she has been found safe and well."


Warwickshire Police is looking for a missing 69-year-old woman last seen at Warwick Hospital.

Marianne Schmitt was reported missing yesterday (October 7) with officers "becoming increasingly concerned" for her welfare.

She was last seen at the hospital at around 2.15pm.

It is believed she may be in the Warwick or Southam area of South Warwickshire.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "She was wearing blue jeans and green trainers and carrying a green carrier bag.

"Marianne is described as 5ft 5' tall, of slim build with short bleached blonde hair and she speaks with a southern accent.

"She sometimes uses the surname Green or Alexander."

If you have seen her or have information regarding her whereabouts call 101 quoting incident number 305 of 7 October 2021.
