Kenilworth Lions have announced that they are re-launching their Pride of Lions community grants scheme this week.

Local charities and community groups are invited to apply for funding for projects and activities that meet the criteria for the scheme.

These are set out on the Kenilworth Lions' website and can be viewed by following this link.

Applications can be made via the online form on the website, or via a downloadable form which can be completed and then emailed back to the Lions.

There is no deadline for applications because new causes are considered on a monthly basis throughout the year.

Although the Lions' normal fund-raising activities have been severely curtailed this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the recent success in re-opening the furniture store on Farmer Ward Road every Saturday morning means that they are able to continue to grant funding of local charities and community groups through the Pride of Lions scheme.

Organisers have said "we are grateful to our store customers for their support in helping to make this happen."
