GALLERY: Corporate entries for Kenilworth Duck Race revealed

By James Smith 23rd Dec 2021

The organisers of the Kenilworth Boxing Day Duck Race have released the designs of the 17 entries to the event's new corporate race.

Businesses across the town have been given the chance to buy a larger duck and decorate as they set fit, with the chance of winning £720 for the company's chosen charity.

The ducks will take to the water ahead of the main event run by Kenilworth Lions on Boxing Day in Abbey Fields.

Organisers are also reminding those attending the event to follow Covid guidelines.

A spokesperson said: "Please do not attend if you have tested positive for Covid or have any symptoms.

"Please take a lateral flow test before leaving home if possible, and even though this is an outdoor event we would advise the wearing of a face mask in any areas which appear crowded. This is a personal choice."

Organisers are also asking residents to walk due to the limited parking available in Abbey Fields.

A gallery of the entries can be seen above.
