Normal bin collections are set to resume across Kenilworth and Warwick district from Monday (January 8).

With no refuse, recycling or food waste collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day, collections have been rearranged across the festive period.

There have also been no green bin collections since December 23, but these will also resume on Monday.

From 8 to 19 January 2024 the council will also collect real Christmas trees.

"We'll be collecting real Christmas trees from 8 to 19 January 2024, and you don't need to have a garden waste permit subscription to have yours collected," the council website says.

"Please ensure that all lights and decorations have been removed from the tree. Any tree that is over 5ft tall must be cut in half.

"Leave your tree outside in a place that's not obstructing the highway, and we'll collect it for you.

"If you're subscribed to the garden waste service, you can chop it up and put it in your bin."

In the case of snow, ice or other bad weather some services may be disrupted - check the waste collection service disruption page for details of any service disruptions.
