Here are all the headlines and news stories from this week in Kenilworth.

Further developments in the closure of Kenilworth Railway Station have come this week. Kenilworth Town Council have written a letter to operators West Midlands Railway asking for clarification over the situation in Kenilworth.

Kenilworth Market was cancelled this week due to a Yellow Weather Warning issued by the Met Office.

Warwickshire County Council have opened a consultation with the public over a new Local Transport Plan.

Warwickshire Police statistics have revealed that during 2020 assaults on Emergency Workers increased by 30%. Warwickshire Police has also opened a consultation over policing during the pandemic.

A planning application has been submitted to Warwick District Council for the 'land east of Kenilworth.' Here is a breakdown of the contents of the application.

A Warwickshire IT company has been recycling old, used laptops to donate to local school children. As home schooling has returned once again 'The Speedy Bear' company have been looking out for those pupils who do not have access to the internet or IT at home.

Following a competition held by Warwickshire County Council a new gritter has been named in memory of a man from Cubbington. Seven new gritters have been named, five with fun names such as 'Usain Salt' and two with more meaningful stories.

A Kenilworth estate agents has been offering free printing services for children home schooling during the third national lockdown.

Musicians from the band 'Rosetta Fire' have rerecorded a song to support a WCC campaing. Jimmy Lapworth and Ant Gliddon have recorded a special version of their song 'Love Again' in support of Warwickshire County Council's 'Show You Care' campaign.

Local businesses have come together to sponsor Kenilworth Wardens Junior teams. Kenilworth Wardens Junior Football Club will receive £6,000 over two seasons from two local companies.
