I am looking to speak with a midlands based Geo-Environmental Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist from a consultancy or a site investigation contractor with the drive to develop their consulting attributes on a range of brownfield development projects for a well respected Geo consultancy. As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, the role will enhance you throughout all technical phases of projects both on site and in the office. Duties including, desk studies & walkovers, ground investigations, land quality assessments, interpretive reports, risk assessments, remediation strategy design and validation. Although you will be brought in as a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will also be delivering a range of large scale geotechnical projects so will gain experience across earthworks (specifications and implementation), foundation design and reporting. To proceed as a Geo-Environmental Engineer, it will be expected that you have the following:

  • 1st degree in geology/engineering geology/geotechnics/geoenvironmental engineering or related geo-science.
  • Experience within the UK completing phase 1 & 2 site investigations, logging soil & rock samples, site monitoring.
  • Ideally have the ability to deliver reports on a factual and/or interpretive basis.
  • UK Driving licence
